Sports & Recreation Services Privacy Statement

Sports & Recreation Services collects personal information under the authority of The University of Western Ontario Act, 1982, as amended, and uses it to process your registration, administer and operate our programs and services, provide you with specific program and seminar information, inform you about changes to courses or classes in which you are registered, and identify you and contact guardians or emergency contacts in the event of an emergency or other incident. Medical information such as diagnoses or conditions may be collected for those enrolled in classes so that instructors can respond appropriately in the event of an emergency. In addition, your contact information may be used to inform you about future programs and services offered by Sports & Recreation Services. If you do not wish to receive information about future programs and services, contact Membership Services at 519 661.3090.

Course Refund Policy

There will be a 10% administration fee for all refunds, except if a course is cancelled. In addition to this fee, the following conditions apply:
- Before the first class begins, course fees refunded. After the first class ends and before the 2nd class begins, course fees refunded, minus the value of the first class (Exceptions: once a weekend crash course has started or registration has closed, there is no refund).
- Under all other circumstances, partial refunds will be issued for medical reasons only (with written documentation).
Sports & Recreation Services reserves the right to cancel a course for any reason; in this case a full refund will be issued with no administration charge.

Intramural Refund Policy

Intramural registrations will be refunded, minus a 10% administration fee, prior to the registration close date. After the registration close date, refunds will only be issued for medical reasons (with written documentation).
Sports & Recreation Services reserves the right to cancel a league for any reason; in this case a full refund will be issued with no administration charge.

Sport Western Refund (Cancellation) Policy

All cancellations are subject to the following conditions:
1. All requests for a refund must be sent via e-mail to sportwestern@uwo.ca.
2. 25% non-refundable administration fee is applied to any and all cancellations.
3. No refunds will be given with less than 14 days notice before the start date of the camp.
4. No Show = No Refund.
5. In all circumstances, a full refund will be issued for withdrawals due to medical reasons, with a medical certificate.
